Photo Christmas Cards

Photo Christmas cards make for great personalized cards. All you need are Christmas cards and a photo, and you're ready to make photo Christmas cards.

Creating photo Christmas cards is both a fun filled experience and a tedious, frustrating task. Creating photo Christmas cards is a fun filled experience because I love the whole process of creating a recipient list for my photo Christmas cards, shopping around for the perfect photo Christmas cards to use, and picking out Christmas themed return address labels and stickers. But I hate having to come up with a photo to use for the photo Christmas cards. It is hard to coordinate my husband's schedule with my own in order to get together and get the perfect photo for photo Christmas cards taken.

Usually we try to plan ahead when it comes to photo Christmas cards. We'll set a time and day to get photos for photo Christmas cards taken, and may do it as early as early November, or even October.

The next hassle for the tedious, frustrating task of photo Christmas cards is to get our daughter to smile. By nature she is stubborn and defiant, and will willingly refuse to look at the camera, or if she does look she will put her fingers in her mouth, and/or she will refuse to smile.

There is also the decision of what type of photos to use for photo Christmas cards. There are the traditional photo Christmas cards - a nice, subdued portrait in which all subjects have slight smiles, are posed in an even group and formation, and are directly facing the camera, with minimal or no Christmas props and a Christmas themed backdrop placed behind them. Then there are the fun photos for personalized Christmas cards. These types of photo Christmas cards are the ones featuring kids popping out of presents, babies naked except for strategically placed ribbons and bows, and fun backgrounds.

Once the photo for the photo theme for the photo Christmas cards is decided on, it's time to take the photo! This is somewhat easy, as our daughter will sit with us and be still. But she will not look at the camera, and/or she'll put her hands up and put her fingers in her mouth. If she does look, after us begging her to so we can have the perfect photo for our personalized photo Christmas cards, she'll finally relent. Ten or even twenty photos later, we will hopefully have the perfect photo to use for our photo Christmas cards.

Once we have our photo, putting together photo Christmas cards is a breeze!
